CONFERENCE DETAILS

We would like to invite you to the international conference “Greening Modern Cities”.

The Polish Green Roofs Association (PSDZ) is an expert scientific and technical organisation supporting the implementation of new technical solutions in engineering and economic practice. We specialise in the topics of green and green-blue infrastructure and climate change adaptation.

We operate throughout Poland.

We are federated and actively cooperate within the World Green Infrastructure Network (WGIN), the European Federation of Building Greening Associations (EFB) and the Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations ‘NOT’

The conference will be held in English.

 

The aim of the conference is to present:

The conference is aimed at municipality workers, academics, architects and landscape architects, developers and contractors, experts in the green roof and green-blue infrastructure industry, journalists, students and everyone passionate about the subject.

Research interests: tree growth in historical and contemporary of landscape architecture; estimating the age of trees; shaping woodlots in urbanized and open areas in the context of mitigating collisions with technical infrastructure; shaping greenery on architectural surfaces (eg. green roof, green trams corridors, green facades).
